About
Todd Mezrah
Todd Mezrah is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Mezrah Consulting, an executive benefits and compensation consulting firm he established in Tampa, Florida in 1993. In this role, he oversees the firm’s vision, strategy, growth, and technology initiatives. Under his leadership, Mezrah Consulting has grown into a national practice serving both privately held and publicly traded companies, and it has developed a specialized banking practice assisting financial institutions with Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) portfolio management and executive benefits solutions.
He co-founded Drawloop Technologies in 2001, which pioneered one of the first enterprise cloud-based platforms for automating business document generation and was later acquired by Nintex in 2015. In addition, Mezrah co-founded AZ Capital Partners in 2015, a private investment firm focused on bridging private wealth with off-market investment opportunities.
In recent years, Mezrah has continued to drive innovation in fintech solutions for the executive benefits arena. He co-founded BOLI Rescue in 2018 to help banks maximize returns on their existing BOLI portfolios by improving liquidity and yield. The following year, in 2019, he launched mapbenefits, a fully cloud-based, 409A-compliant SaaS platform for nonqualified deferred compensation plan administration. Most recently, in 2024, Mezrah introduced 409A Direct, an online platform that enables small and mid-sized businesses to design and implement their own deferred compensation plans more efficiently.
Mezrah is also a recognized thought leader in executive benefit strategy, regularly advising organizations on plan design, funding strategies, regulatory compliance, proxy disclosure, and benefit plan administration. He focuses on helping companies create effective executive compensation programs that attract and retain top talent without adverse financial impact. In addition, he has authored numerous articles on executive benefits and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, sharing insights on the tax, legal, and accounting implications of executive compensation and benefit plans.
Before founding Mezrah Consulting, Mezrah began his career in Los Angeles, working as a financial analyst at Management Compensation Group and as a senior consultant at Executive Compensation Solutions. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama, and later received his MBA (with an emphasis on employee benefits) from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
Beyond his business endeavors, Todd Mezrah is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. Through the Todd and Shari Mezrah Charitable Fund, he and his family support numerous charitable organizations, including the Jewish Federation, the Jewish National Fund, the Florida Holocaust Museum, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Heart Association, and the Glazer Children’s Museum. In line with his commitment to giving back, he established the Todd Mezrah Scholarship to empower promising students through education, reflecting his dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
